Week 22- Y2

 06/03/23 

We managed to do a full run through today. We showed kelly what we did on Thursday and we fixed it up a little. Instead of Ray giving Tom the knife and wiping the blood of his hands weve made it so that Tom runs on with us, Stefi gives him the knife and she wants to protect Zafer, since we believe that he did it. And then me as belle wiping the blood of his hands as she likes him and wants to protect him. It was the first time where I had to do my police scene where I'm talking about how Tom Joy steals things and how he always follows us everywhere. I want to work on it a bit more as I think it's a vital scene where Belle suddenly betrays Tom even though she has feelings for him.

Tess came in again today! Me and Sienna got to talk to her for a few minutes about our script. So the baseline of our script is about 4 girls, and they each have their own problems. They used to all be close friends, but they all drifted apart during secondary school. Someone from their school was having a party. They all end up going. It starts off with one girl going into the bathroom and finding one of the girls already in there crying, eventually they all stumble in there. They talk about their problems. By the end of it they all decide to go out. Of course there's a lot more to it. Tess said that she really loved it and that it has a great story. She said a lot of other good things but I'm not gonna lie I can't remember. Here's the feedback she gave us though:

-why did the characters fall apart? maybe show how different the personalities are

So Belle is hard working and has strict parents- maybe make her a loner and a nerd. Summer Just broke up with her boyfriend- make her the popular of the group maybe something like Regina George. Just really show their distinct personalities. 

-Add more random moments, like someone else could be in the bathroom listening, as they were already in there but couldn't find a way out. 

-Add more to the ending scene. 

Me and sienna are going to go through it so that we can add these new ideas in! 

08/03/23

Someone came in today shooting videos for different courses that are a part of Apta. We ran up to the scene about the beginning on scene 10. We recorded some of scene 8, which took a while because we tried to do this cool transition thing where the costume that Tom Joy throws goes into the camera. But he can't look at the camera so he kept on missing. We got there eventually haha. We also set up the theatre for the first time and it looked amazing! It felt great having the the set done in the theatre, It got me excited for the real thing. 

Afterwards the second years did some work on #YOLO. We went through the big scenes today which were scene 1, 3, and 10. We also went through scenes 2 and 7. I think that they went pretty well. Scene 3 has improved quite a lot but there's a few more things that I think would make it look better such as having people in the background since it is a party and at the moment it looks too bland. We were also using three chairs for me, Sienna and Emie to sit on where I think a sofa would look so much better. Were thinking about bringing it down, as we would use the sofa for a lot of the scenes.
