Today we got to go to Whitby for the night! I had an absolute blast and would love to do it again. When we got there we put our bags in the common room and got into our groups. I was in a group with Kadie, Gracie, Alayah, Elliot, Keira, Mark, Millie T, Taron, Martin, Kenz, Danial, Alfie. It's a mixture of the acting and filming course. Our film is about two friends who are photographers. One of them (Sara, played by Kadie) sees the main vampire (Mark) sucking the blood out of someone so she runs away and bumps into her friend (Rachael- me) Rachael doesn't believe her and this then turn into her dying and then sara finding her. This means we had to get makeup done as vampires and some wounds. Our group were the last too get makeup done which ended up ruining some of our filming. Firstly here are some photos of the makeup I got:
I got given a light base to show that I am dead and a slash wound across my neck. We were going to film in the Abbey, but it ended up shutting two hours early due to high winds. This made the film makers a little upset as their ideas had to be altered. We ended up filming in the graveyard. I had to act like a corpse the whole day. IT WAS FREEZING!!!! I lay down on the wet freezing floor for over an hour, but it was worth it because we got the shot and it was also pretty funny. We went in and then We took a break. We all got our rooms and then I also took of the wound, as I didn't need to film with it anymore as I got all the shots with it on. Afterwards people began filming again. We went outside. But about 30 mins later we got rang to go back in as the weather was so so sooooo bad. It was so windy that me and my friend Kadie couldn't walk in the direction we needed to because of how strong it was. It was honestly hilarious. We got in and then we got changed and had dinner. That was all the filming for that night

Everyone was so tired today because of how late everyone slept. I woke up tired but after breakfast I had tons of energy and couldn't wait to film. Mark needed to get makeup done, so in the meantime I helped out and was a background character for another film. We went and filmed in the pier. It took a while to film everything but eventually we got there. I only had one line, so I realised that I wasn't in it much but it was great to be able to put input and help out. I will put the finished product of the film on here later on:
