Week Five- Rehearsals

In today's lesson we rehearsed scenes 11, 12 and 13 in act two. Although I didn't get to act in the rehearsal I was able to watch the other second chef from cast one, and it really helped. I was able to see how I need to communicate to the head chef and waiter. I also got to see the points where I would need to freeze. Listening to the other second chef, also helped me to memorise some lines. Today I also got what role I got for the murder mystery, and I got an employee. I don't really mind that I didn't get the role I wanted because I'm still going to be in it.

In today's lesson we rehearsed scenes 11, 12, and 13 in act two again. This time we swapped the cast so I was able to practice my lines and what movements I'm going to do. I was able to memories nearly all my lines using the beat technique, which is really helpful because it was hard to do my movements and facial expressions whilst just looking at the script. I have one more beat to memories then I will be able to go through the whole scene smoothly. After I fully memories all my lines I will really focus on my facial expressions and all the movements chefs do. The most thing I need to focus on is when the mouse goes up my pants, but that will improve when I memories my lines for the last beat.

In today's lesson we rehearsed scenes 11, 12, and 13 in act two again, making sure that we have it right. We also went through all the scenes from the beginning until scene 6. This means I got to practice my role of the tree house witch. I have my lines memorised and my movement and facial expressions practised well. I personally think that I did well. I need to practice more on my second chef role making sure that I look terrified of the mouse. I have nearly memorised my last lines, I just get a little stuck sometimes. Today we also got to see what he bold caps look like. They looked so cool! i'm so excited to put them on for the show.

In today's lesson we rehearsed scenes 11, 12, and 13 in act two again, making sure that we have it right. We also went through scene 6. Today I practised the part where the head chef hits me by accident and I hit him back and choreograph it well so that it looks believable. We ended up learning it and getting it right. I just need to keep practising it so that it looks better. Today we were meant to be working on our copycat scene but our show is in a week time so we need to fully practice it. Our group for the copycat scene have also got everything to film, were are waiting for our outfits to come. We were meant to film today but most of us still hadn't got our costumes. We also couldn't go in the biology room to rehearse as we need to book it.
