In today's lesson me and my classmates got the opportunity to meet Sam Brown, an ex student of Stockton riverside college. He told us the reality of how hard it is to be an actor/actress, but also told us the amazing opportunities and memories that we can create. I now also have a clearer path of wanting to go to university more than drama school, as I now understand the difference. I really enjoyed meeting Sam because he was amazing, and told us a lot of important and interesting facts about acting. I got to watch a trailer of a new series coming out in November, called 'The Window', which he plays the lead character, and it looks amazing.

Hello!, in today's lesson me and my friend Sienna got to film our short dialogue based on two sisters who argue as there stressed, angry and upset about their mother who is seriously ill. It was an amazing experience as it was the first time i had ever done anything with cameras and filming. They had to take three shots. One with both me and Sienna's face, then one of me and the last being one of Sienna's face. This is so that we can focus on our facial expressions and body language separately, but also how we respond to one another. I was quite nervous about the cameras but as soon as I started acting all the nerves went away.

In today's lesson both the year ones and twos got to see the characters lines for the audition, for 'The witches'. After looking at each character I decided I wanted to audition for the part of 'witch 2'. This was because I love her devotion to the grand high witch, and also because she has a British accent which I already have. For the rest of the day me and my friends practised through the lines making sure that we have chosen the right character.

In today's lesson me and my group didn't do much as we spent a bit of time doing our dyslexia test. But we got to look through our script for the twilight copycat scene which was exciting because I love twilight and i'm really excited to film my first proper 'short film'. After we read our parts out loud to each other we got a clearer view of what we need to figure out, such as props, outfits, setting ect. In our next lesson we will be making a power point for the scene and work out what we need to do to film it.
